NATtrol Norovirus GI Stock (NATNOVI-ST) is formulated with purified, intact virus particles that have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator stable. Each vial contains 1.0 mL of Norovirus GI NATtrol that contains ~1Kb sequence of the Norovirus GI genome engineered into a surrogate RNA virus. NATNOVI-ST stock is supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen.

NATtrol Norovirus GI Stock is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of Norovirus GI RNA. NATNOVI-ST can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATNOVI-ST contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
